D1.2 European-wide high fidelity forest cover maps
This document provides a critical assessment of European forest mapping and classification, juxtaposing several pivotal studies and datasets, including WorldCover and Global Forest Change. It details the satellite data and methodologies used, offering a comparative analysis of forest type classifications across Europe.
D1.3 Intermediary report with back-testing results
This document covers the modelling infrastructure, how we pre-processed satellite imagery the development of the high fidelity european forest mapping and the development of our 3 main models: fire, insect outbreaks and windthrow.
D2.2 Connected web and mobile platform
The objective of this deliverable was to establish a tool that enables foresters to collect sanitary data and store it in the database. The collected data will be utilised by artificial intelligence models to undergo training, empowering them to detect sanitary parcels effectively in the future.
D3.2 First feedback collection
This deliverable summarises the activities and findings from the first protocol of data collection conducted in the field between December 2023 and January 2024. It details the initial testing phases, focusing on the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design to ensure foresters could effectively use the system's functionalities.
D5.2 Intermediary report on dissemination and communication activities
This deliverable reports on the communication and dissemination activities executed up to M18 of the SWIFTT project, including website and social media presence, scientific publications, press releases, organisation of and participation in events, and networking activities with other projects and initiatives. It also evaluates the accomplishment of the key performance indicators (KPIs) defined in D5.1.
D7.1 Co-learning, internal communication and project management handbook, including detailed risk analysis and risk management plan
This document provides information on the SWIFTT project management organisation, including the management structure, descriptions of work packages and tasks, a meeting schedule, a list of deliverables, a deliverable quality process, and a project handbook.
